About this design
This is a filet-crochet dress worked in two panels (front and back) from the grid charts. The front has a V-neck shaping; the chain-flower motifs are added in Cotton Gold Batik for a subtle multicolour accent. It makes a light, quick-drying beach cover-up or summer dress.

Why Alize Cotton Gold works here
Cotton Gold is a cotton-and-acrylic blend: crisp enough to keep the filet mesh open and defined, cool to wear, and quick-drying — ideal for a beach dress. The Batik accent adds colour to the flowers without changing the fabric.
How it is worked
This is a filet-crochet design: follow the grid chart where each filled square is a block and each open square is a mesh space, using the base mesh shown on the chart (chains and double treble crochet). Work the Front (with the V-neck shaping shown on the chart) and the Back, add the flower motifs in the accent colour, then join the shoulders and sides, leaving armholes and neckline open. The chart uses UK crochet terms.
