Is YarnArt Jeans Bamboo good for amigurumi?

It works, but expect softer, slouchier toys. The bamboo-acrylic strand is smooth and drapey, so stitches can open over the stuffing unless you crochet tightly with a hook well below the 3.5 mm label size, around 2.5 mm. For firm, upright toys the cotton-blend YarnArt Jeans is easier; Jeans Bamboo suits floppy baby comforters and soft dolls.

Is YarnArt Jeans Bamboo good for a baby blanket?

Yes. It is smooth, soft and certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and its drape makes a light spring or summer blanket. A cot blanket of about 75 × 90 cm in sport-weight yarn usually needs 900–1,200 m, so plan on 6–8 balls of 150 m. Garter stitch, simple lace or granny squares all suit its fluid fabric.

Is bamboo yarn warm or cool to wear?

Cool. Bamboo viscose feels cool to the touch and breathes, which is why YarnArt Jeans Bamboo is usually picked for summer tops and spring baby wear rather than winter sweaters. The 50% acrylic adds a little body. For a warmer yarn of similar thickness, try the wool blend YarnArt Super Merino.

Can I mix Jeans Bamboo and regular YarnArt Jeans in one project?

Yes, but swatch both first. They share the sport weight and 3.5 mm tools, yet Jeans Bamboo (150 m per 50 g) is slightly thinner and much drapier than classic Jeans (160 m). In a blanket, squares in each yarn can stretch differently, so wash a sample of both and compare sizes. In stripes, the difference in sheen can look deliberate.
