How many balls of Denim Washed for a child's sweater?

Around 5–6 balls for sizes 4–6 years. A light-weight child's pullover in that range typically uses 600–800 m, and each 50 g ball holds 130 m (700 ÷ 130 ≈ 5.4). For a toddler size, 4 balls is often enough; buy every ball from one dye lot so the heathered shade matches.
