Is YarnArt Baby good for amigurumi?

Yes, it works well for small, colourful toys. Go down to a 2.5–3 mm hook, smaller than the 3.5 mm on the label, so the fabric is tight enough that stuffing doesn't show between stitches. The 51 shades in 50 g balls let you make multicolour characters without buying large amounts of each colour.

How many balls of YarnArt Baby for a baby blanket?

Plan on 6–8 balls for a knitted blanket of about 75 × 90 cm. A sport-weight blanket that size typically uses 900–1,200 m, and each 50 g ball holds 150 m (1,050 ÷ 150 = 7). Crocheted blankets use roughly a quarter to a third more yarn, so allow 8–10 balls if you crochet.

YarnArt Baby vs YarnArt Elite – what's the difference?

On the label they are very close: both are 100% acrylic sport weight with 300 m per 100 g and a 3.5 mm needle and hook. The practical difference is the ball. Baby comes in 50 g balls of 150 m, handy for stripes and small colourful projects, while YarnArt Elite comes in 100 g balls of 300 m, meaning fewer joins in big pieces.
