The yarn itself is excellent- light, gentle and very pleasant to knit. But the thread was tied and there was a different shade of paint in the sequel. I noticed only after 3 cm of knitting that it differed. It is a pity to break down and change.

How many balls of Gazzal Exclusive for a shawl?

A medium triangular lace shawl usually needs 3–5 balls. Shawls of that size typically use 550–900 m, and each 25 g ball holds 200 m, so 550–900 m ÷ 200 m gives 3–5 balls. A large stole or wedding wrap can take 6 or more, and a light lace top usually 5–7.

Is Gazzal Exclusive itchy with the mohair in it?

Most people find it gentle on skin, as mohair is only 10% of the blend and it is super kid grade, the finest type. Merino and mulberry silk make up the rest, so the result is a soft haze rather than a hairy fabric. Very sensitive skin can still notice mohair, so test a swatch at your neck.

Can I crochet with Gazzal Exclusive?

Yes, the recommended hook range is 3.25–5 mm. The silk gives crochet lace a fluid drape, so filet, pineapple and open shell patterns hang well in shawls and wraps. Use the 3.25–3.5 mm end for neat edgings and the 4.5–5 mm end for airy, open stitches.

Gazzal Exclusive or Gazzal Super Kid Mohair for a lace shawl?

Exclusive is the better choice when the lace pattern should stay visible: with only 10% mohair and 30% silk, it has a gentle sheen and clear stitches at 200 m per 25 g. Gazzal Super Kid Mohair is 47% kid mohair with a much fuller halo that softens lace, better for plain, cloud-like wraps.
