Does DROPS Merino Extra Fine pill?

Some light pilling is normal where the fabric rubs, such as underarms and cuffs, as with most soft merino. Pills come off easily with a sweater comb or fabric shaver. Washing garments inside out on a gentle cycle reduces friction, and pilling usually settles after the first few wears.

How many balls of DROPS Merino Extra Fine for a baby sweater?

Most baby sweaters from 0 to 12 months take 3–5 balls. DK baby sweaters typically use 300–450 m depending on size, and each 50 g ball holds 105 m, so 300–450 m ÷ 105 m gives 3–5 balls. A matching hat usually needs one more.
